SingTel is committed to shaping the education landscape for the future in Singapore. We constantly engage partners and evaluate technologies that bring innovative learning applications, digital multimedia-rich teaching and learning resources to schools.

SingTel seeks to be a technology enabler and ICT solutions aggregator, by pulling together various innovative ICT solutions to meet customers’ needs. We envision providing a cloud-based environment that can host Education Contents and Applications so that they can be delivered to schools seamlessly on a utility-based model. This will allow greater flexibility and scalability to all schools and students can use these resources and tools anytime, anywhere.

The Ministry of Education recognises our capability to offer relevant solutions to customers, hence had awarded our best-of-breed partners and us the Next-Generation Interactive Textbook and Oracy Portal for Mother Tongue Languages tenders. With these, the Future School project (which SingTel had won earlier) and other ongoing initiatives to offer education contents and applications via the Cloud, SingTel is well-poised to deliver more applications to transform the education and learning industry.
