Internet Email Alert is an innovative service that tells you if you have received any Internet mail, by alerting you through your pager, up to 15 times a day.
You can now know immediately whenever an e-mail has been sent to you from your business associates, family or friends. So you can decide whether or not to dial up into the Internet to check your mail.
If you hold a message pager, SingTel Paging's Internet E-mail Alert will provide both the sender"s address and subject matter of the mail via your message pager. Example: If ivy@singnet.com.sg sends you a message titled "tonight's program", you'll receive this notification:
[SN]ivy@singnet.com.sg - tonight's program
where [SN] is your mailbox as in the table below, followed by the sender's name and lastly the subject of e-mail. If you hold a numeric pager, you'll be notified on your pager with coded information.
Example : If you receive a message from betty@pacific.net.sg, you'll see the following codes on your pager :
[11] 12 where [11] is your service provider and 12 is the sender's service provider.
