Management Services
To provide you with better service, conferencing has the following specialised management services:
Recording
Reach more people by letting them reach you at their own convenience. Those who have missed a conference session can call in to hear the proceedings of the conference while those who have attended the conference session can clarify a point or review a part of the conference. Recording can also be downloaded onto CDs or tapes.
Lecture/Broadcast
You can place participants who choose to listen only to a conference session in a lecture mode, to reduce background noise and enhance the quality of the call, especially when there are a large number of participants.
Questions & Answers
Questions can be requested, placed in a queue and accepted by the Conference Moderator. The Conference Coordinator will instruct participants on the use of Q&A, announce the participant asking the question and maintain a smooth flow of information to the Moderator. So presentations, lectures, or seminars can move a lot more smoothly and efficiently.
Polling/Survey
Participants can use their touch-tone phone to register responses to pre-arranged multi-choice questions during the conference. Results will then tabulated and presented to the Conference Moderator.
Subconferencing
Conference sessions can be broken into smaller discussion groups. The Conference Coordinator can arrange participants to be transferred into a smaller and separate conference. After completing the private discussion, the participants can rejoin the main conference.
Conference Lock/Unlock
The Conference Moderator can activate this security feature to prevent Conference Coordinators from monitoring the conference.
Series Reservations
The most efficient method of conferencing is to reserve a call to run on regular basis, be it daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly. By doing so, it eliminates last minute reservations and allows the Conference Moderator to access the same conference call number and conference code consistently.
Entry & Exit Tones
These indicate participants leaving and exiting the conference session.
Web Features
Full Control and Security
Data Conference offers a secured conferencing environment that enables you to carry out your meetings in total privacy. Only participants you have invited will receive email invitations with details for the meeting. During the meeting, you may use the Roll Call feature to take attendance. You may also easily Eject unauthorised participants and Lock the conference to prevent late or unauthorised entry.
As the Moderator, you have full control of the flow and pace of your meetings. You may skip slides, or go backward and forward in your slides. You decide when you want to take questions.
Fully Interactive
A host of tools allow participants to interact with one another and discuss exchange ideas effectively. The Text Chat feature enables you to send private or public messages to share common ideas or topics with other participants. With the Whiteboard feature, you may make use of a suite of annotation tools to highlight specific contents, draw organisation charts and jot down brainstorming notes.
Application Sharing
With Data Conference, you may easily share any applications or documents e.g. PowerPoint presentations; Excel spreadsheets; Word documents; Web browsers and enable other participants to make changes to the shared application.

Online Polling with Instant Feedback
With the online Polling feature, you may easily gather the opinions of a live group by building questions right into the presentation. Participants can select their answers simply by clicking on the appropriate answer on their screens. Answers are instantly collected, aggregated, and analysed in a pie chart ar bar chart, which is immediately transmitted back to the entire group.
