Apstar 1
Apstar 1 is a HS-376 communication satellite built by Hughes Space and Communications International, Inc. (now Boeing Satellite Systems) with 24 C-Band transponders. Geostationary location 138°E. The satellite has a footprint that covers China, Japan and Southeast Asia, reaching as far south as Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
