Mobile Cell Site Connectivity
SingTel’s satellite transponders are ideal for connecting mobile cell sites in countries with poor infrastructure. It is also ideal for putting up temporary connectivity for sites that are expected to have sudden surge in demand.
Broadcasting
SingTel provides transponders in both C and Ku-Band for broadcast services over the footprint of SingTel satellites.
Voice Services
Customers also utilise transponders for providing voice connectivity from point to point. The advantage in using the SingTel’s transponders is that the customer can utilise the capacity to provide voice and Internet services. By coupling the transponder with VSAT terminals together with the Wireless Local Loop equipment, the user will be able to expand the reach of the voice and Internet services up to 10 km radius from the VSAT location. This is the ideal product for rural telephony.
