Our Network Infrastructure

Efficiency and reliability are the hallmark of our state-of-the-art telecommunications infrastructure. It has a fully digitised network that covers 100% of the island . With such a reliable digital infrastructure linked by fibre optics, our network is carved out specially to carry data communication traffic.

Multiplexing equipment are installed at strategic exchanges and commercial buildings to combine customers' lower speed circuits with a high-speed optical fibre trunk. You can gain access to the network by simply replacing analogue voice-band modems with compatible Customer Terminating Equipment (CTEs) that have standard interfaces making it plug-compatible with any hardware that you may use.

Optical fibre nodes have also been installed in buildings where there is demand for high-speed circuits or where there is high volume data traffic. Customers requiring data circuits at speeds from 2Mbps to 155Mbps can access these nodes via a standard G.703 interface.
